Welcome to AOC Productions (formerly Aberdeen Opera Company) - come in and discover what our wonderful society is all about!
We have been performing and entertaining audiences in Aberdeen and the surrounding area since 1940 with a range of Operettas, Concerts and Musicals.
We love what we do and that enthusiasm shines through the entire company including members, production team, committee and technical team. This is reflected in the high standard of performance that we achieve every year and also by the enjoyment that the whole team has during the rehearsals and show week.
The society has been on an incredible journey for over 80 years. From the first production of “The Mikado” in 1940 as Aberdeen Opera Company, to our first non Gilbert and Sullivan show in 1966, our 75th birthday in 2015 with the UK Amateur Premiere of “9 to 5”, then our name change to AOC Productions in 2016, the sell out success of “Sunshine on Leith” and our fantastic rendition of " Chess" the Musical in His Majesty's Theatre in 2017, our first time treading the boards in The Tivoli Theatre in 2018 with the classic musical "Oliver!" and the Scottish Amateur Premiere of "Shrek the Musical" in 2019 at HMT.
Our society is always evolving and that journey is far from over.

We are once again delighted to be touring the North-East of Scotland with our latest concert, ALMOST ANYTHING GOES, from 13th - 16th November 2024 .
Calling at Stonehaven, Inverurie, Aberdeen and Fraserburgh, this concert features a wide selection of songs to showcase the wonderful vocal talent of our entire company. Tickets available HERE.
